Designed by Filipe Alarcão, Portugal´s renowned product designer, the Gem table is made with DuPont´s monteli. A new material very similar to Corian. The Montelli however absorbs the bonding of specific glue differently, making it impossible to view the pieces connecting. The end result is a piece that looks like it´s been dilapidated from a single stone. The Montelli material also allows you to use the Gem table indoors and outdoors.
