As we are approaching halfway through this year (already!), it felt that our blog was the most appropriate place to share a few links of fellow bloggers where TemaHome was featured throughout 2009. TemaHome GALLERIES

Rather than just displaying one or two pieces of our furniture together with a few catalogues, we will encourage shop-owners to create a self-contained “TemaHome shop” inside their own shops, and hopefully add to the retailer’s space that little something we have always tried to do: be close and personal towards customers!


In order to aid retailers maximise our product’s visibility, we have also designed a variety of different promotional structures bearing the TemaHome image (catalogue totems, wall and desk signs and displays) to figure alongside our galleries and have you feel welcomed to our home, enabling them to become fully adaptable to seasons and specific items.



Expect to find our TemaHome concept present in more and more shop spaces around the world!

Dodeka!

The winner of TemaHome Living your Dreams, designed by Nádia Carina Soares: DODEKA!
According to Nádia, her goal was to project a resistant stackable stool with the environmental concern of using the least amount of material as possible. From this starting point came the concept of a triangular top and the stacking process based on negatives to form the "dodecaedro". Dodeka means "Dozen" in Greek and comes from “δώδεκα".
Nádias Greek inspiration comes from her 2 years living in Greece.

Nominated Nadia

Congratulations to Nadia Carina Soares! Her project landed her the first prize in the "Living your Dreams" contest awarding her a trip to the 100% Design in London, one of the most important product design events in the world. In addition to her trip Nadia earned an internship at the TemaHome design department under the supervision of renowned designer Filipe Alarcão.

The results are in!

The "living your dreams" contest is over. We picked the 20 best
projects out of the over 100 entries. It was no hard task, but with
the help of the Portuguese Center for Design, we selected a winner.
We will announce the winner at a cocktail on July 2nd at 6 pm.
